I’m here at the Girl Scout National Convention in Houston this week. The convention occurs every three years and this is the third one I’ve attended. I’m here not as a service unit coordinator but as the liaison from the Association of Women Geoscientists to the Girl Scouts. In that capacity, I have a booth in the exhibit hall:
The hall opened today at 1.30 and now at 5 it’s finally calmed down a bit, so I can take a few pictures & post. The center stage gathering area:
We’re tonight till 7 and the tomorrow starting at 9 again. If I can find time, I’ll take pictures of some of the fun hand-out booths tomorrow morning
